  The staff here has historically been very good--which has been the saving grace for this store for years because it made the premise of selling your games back at horribly depreciated value somewhat tolerable. Over time it seems the staff has been squeezed, bled or pummled into lifeless and overworked subservience. Don't misunderstand: service is still great but it seems to be depleting the very last of the reserves of each of the workers to do so. If I have any idea about how this corporate retail thing goes: they seem underpaid and overworked with too much oversight and not enough leverage to do their jobs in a way that would truly make customers happy. So, in effect you get a store with (usually just one fairly frantically working) an employee who seems like they're making the best of a bad situation--almost the way you would expect someone to act if they were being held at gunpoint while doing a job they thought they'd like more.
